JULY DINNER MEETING AT CORONADO CAYS YACHT CLUB: The July dinner meeting will be hosted by Coronado Cays Yacht Club on Thursday, July 17, 2008. Cocktails begin at 6:15 p.m. and dinner is served at 7:30 p.m. Reservations are required and may be made by completing the RSVP Form on this site, by calling the Coronado Cays Yacht Club at 619-429-0133 or by FAX at 619-424-5938. Reservations must be made by 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 15.

Commodore Jeanne Irwin has invited all past commodores of the San Diego Association of Yacht Clubs to attend this meeting. There will be a photo session for the past commodores at 6:30 p.m. in the foyer of the club.

2008 RACE CALENDAR: The 2008 Race Calendar is available here. The printed version will be available at the December dinner meeting and will be distributed to the clubs and other locations.

CLEAN MARINA PROGRAM: A partnership of marina owners and yacht club members from Dana Point to Chula Vista developed the Clean Marina Program to provide clean facilities to the boating community and protect San Diego Region's waterways from pollution. The purpose of the Clean Marina Program is to encourage the marinas and yacht clubs in Region 9 of the California Regional Water Quality Control Board to use Best Management Practices (BMPs) in order to prevent or reduce pollution in our coastal waterways.
